Classic Keel

The Driftwood Caravan Classic Keel Fish is inspired by one of the most significant concepts in surfboard history as written in San Diego by Steve Lis during the late 60s and beginning of the 70’s. Wide point slightly forward, full outline, twin symmetrical pins and twin keels. This particular model has a thicker rail and more volume than the other renditions of a twin keel than I currently shape. This is a great option if you like to ride a shorter board in any wave including 2 foot slop to overhead and pumping. The regular rocker is fairly low making this board very easy to paddle. The wide outline and neutral bottom provide lots of speed and stability. I can also add single concave that starts right behind the entry and splits into a dual concave out the tail resting between the keels. This shape comes standard with glassed on marine ply or fiberglass fins.
